Segment F-1 ROD Notice of Availability.

Segment F-1 FEIS Public Comments are addressed in the Segment F-1 Record of Decision (ROD). The comment period ended on July 10, 2008.

Segment F-1 Record of Decision (ROD) was issued on November 20, 2008 by FHWA. Thank you to all who participated in the process and submitted comments on the FEIS.

The Segment F-2 Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) was signed by the Federal Highway Administration on July 2, 2008 and was published in the State and Federal Registers on August 8, 2008. An addendum to the Federal Notice of availability was issued to extend the public comment period from September 17, 2008 to November 26, 2008.

The formal comment period for Segment F-2 closed on November 26, 2008. Thank you to all who submitted comments.

Segment E Record of Decision (ROD) was issued on June 24, 2008 by FHWA. Thank you to all who participated in the process and submitted comments on the FEIS.

On February 19, 2008, a ribbon-cutting celebration commemorating the completion of the first phase of Segment I-2 (IH 10 to FM 1405) was held, and the segment was opened to traffic on March 25, 2008. Phase 2 of Segment I-2 (FM 1405 to SH 146) is currently under design.

Segment C Public Information Meeting was held on, August 30, 2007. Comment period closed on September 13, 2007. Please refer to Segment C for additional information.

Current Status:

Segments B and H & I-1 are in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) phase. Segments C, F-2 and G are in the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) phase. Segment D has received Environmental clearance by TxDOT Environmental Affairs division. Segments E and F-1 have received a Record of Decision (ROD) by FHWA.
