 In January 2006, a consultant team was given notice to proceed with preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Segments H and I-1.
•
 An agency meeting was held on Feb. 22, 2006 to brief state and federal resources agencies, local officials, and others about the proposed project and to solicit their comments.
•
 Public Scoping Meetings were held on Tuesday, February 28 and Wednesday, March 1 of 2006.
•
 Second series of Public Scoping Meetings held May 8-9, 2007.
